Make sure to configure your wireless router before connecting the Epson ET 2550 printer to your Wi-Fi network.Carry out the procedure given below to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi.

  1. Note down the SSID and network key of your wireless network, which will be present on the router’s label.
  2. First, remove all the packing materials to set up the printer physically. 
  3. Connect the power cord to the printer to turn it on.
  4. Install the ink tanks and load paper into the cassette before starting the wireless setup.
  5. Install the printer software on your device from the installation CD or download it from the official website of Epson.
  6. Launch the installation wizard to install the software and follow the instructions displayed on it.
  7. In some cases, the software automatically detects your wireless network and get connected to it.
  8. If the above method fails, you have to connect the printer to your network manually.
  1. When the printer Setup window appears, select Wireless connection and click Next.
  2. In the Setup option, select “Set up the printer for the first time” and select the setup method “Using printer buttons.” Click Next.
  3. You will be instructed to start Wireless Setup on the screen.
  4. On your printer’s control panel, buttons press the Home button.
  5. Select the Wi-Fi Setup option using the navigation keys and press OK.
  6. Navigate to the Wi-Fi Setup Wizard and select your network.
  7. Enter the password of your wireless network and press the OK button.
  8. The Epson ET 2550 printer is now connected to your wireless network.
  9. Complete the instructions on the software to finish the setup process.
  10. Restart your device after you have finished installing the software.
